Abstract:
A plurality of letter types is classified into two groups, and for each group, a plurality of letters is assigned to each of letter keys (30). Such flick input definition information that the assigned letters are associated with each direction of flick input operations is registered for one group, and such toggle input definition information that the assigned letters are associated with a display order of toggle input operations is registered for the other group. With respect to the flick input operation, on the basis of the flick input definition information relating to the letter key (30) to be operated, a letter corresponding to a direction of the flick input operation is determined, and the determined letter is displayed. When the toggle input operation is performed, an assigned letter indicated by the toggle input definition information relating to the letter key (30) to be operated is displayed by being switched in the defined order.
