Abstract:
This projection apparatus is provided with: a housing that has a base part and a protrusion part protruding from the base part; a projection lens that projects image light onto a projection object, and is disposed to face the protrusion part and attached to the base part; a prism that is disposed to face an incidence-side end of the projection lens within the base part; a plurality of transmission-type electrooptic elements that are respectively disposed to face a plurality of side surfaces of the prism; and a semiconductor light source that is disposed within the protrusion part in order to generate the image light.
