Provided are a projection device, a projection method, and a control program with which it is possible to set an overlapping region efficiently.　This projection device (10) projects a first image (7a) projected by a first projection unit (1a) and a second image (7b) projected by a second projection unit (1b) in a partially overlapping manner. When a modification operation for modifying the setting of the overlapping region has been accepted, the projection device (10) performs control for projecting the first image (7a) from the first projection unit (1a) by performing projection control according to the setting modification operation that has been accepted, and performs control for projecting the second image (7b) from the second projection unit (1b) by performing projection control according to the modification operation that has been accepted. When a confirmation operation instructing the confirmation of the overlapping region is accepted, the projection device ends the control according to the modification operation.
