Abstract:
Provided are a projection display device, a method of controlling the projection display device and a program for controlling the projection display device with which it is possible to provide sufficient information to a driver of a vehicle equipped with a windshield wiper. A head-up display (HUD) (10) is provided with a projection display unit (50), including an optical modulation unit for spatially modulating light emitted from a light source on the basis of inputted image information, for projecting a spatially modulated image light to a projection range (11A) of the front windshield (11) of a construction machine (1) and displaying an image based on the image light. A display control unit (65) performs first display control for limiting the display position of a first display content based on work assistance information to a range (110A) out of the projection range (11A) that overlaps a wiping range wiped by a windshield wiper (14), and limiting the display position of a second display content based on related information the relation of which with work is low to a range (111A) out of the projection range (11A) that overlaps an unwiped range that the windshield wiper (14) cannot wipe.
