Abstract:
The invention relates to illumination engineering. The device comprises an irradiator (2) illuminating, in a direction (Q, Q') not coinciding with the radiation axis (O, O') of the device, sources of secondary radiation consisting of autonomous reflectors (6) located on a common carrying surface (5) and divided by non-radiating intervals (9) decreasing the mean overall (glare) brightness of the projector without decreasing its luminous intensity. The intervals (9) may be made capable of absorbing external illumination rays (12) thus allowing the projector to be used in daylight as a signalling device.
