Abstract:
[Problem] To facilitate the task of exchanging colors to print and enable continuous printing in a proof press having a plurality of plate cylinders. [Solution] This invention is provided with: a plurality of plate cylinders (68) disposed around a rotary shaft (12) so as to be parallel to the rotary shaft (12) and supported by discs (21, 26); a pair of clamping shafts (47, 56) for clamping both ends of the plate cylinders (68); a clamping shaft driving device (88) for moving one (47) of the clamping shafts forwards and backwards; a rotary driving device (91) linked to the rotary shaft (12) and the other (56) of the clamping shafts; a plate cylinder lift device (80) for lifting the plate cylinders (68); an impression cylinder (83) installed so as to correspond to one of the plate cylinders (68); an impression cylinder driving device (86) for driving the impression cylinder (83); and a printing pressure adjustment device (88) for bringing the impression cylinder (83) towards the plate cylinder (68) side and applying a printing pressure.
