Abstract:
This protective element (100) has: a first electrode part (1); a second electrode part (2) disposed spaced apart from the first electrode part (1); a fuse element part (3) that exhibits springiness; and a case (4) that contains at least a portion of the fuse element part (3). The fuse element part (3) is provided with: a first end section (3A) that connects to the first electrode part (1); a second end section (3B) that connects to the second electrode part (2); and a cut section (3C) disposed between the first end part (3A) and the second end part (3B). The fuse element part (3) is held inside the case (4) in a bent state such that both cut ends of the cut section (3C) are separated from each other during the cutting thereof.
