Abstract:
This invention relates to a textile product structured for worker in incandescent metals production in production facilities, in foundries and welding areas and this textile product is characterized in that it is a protective fabric (A) which has an upper layer (1 ) comprising a warp and weft 75% Viscose FR-25% Polyamide FR mixture, made of textile fabric having 2/1 or 3/1 S Twill weave structure, a lower layer (3) comprising 100% meta aramid mixture, made of woven fabric having 1 /1 plain weave structure and a middle layer (2) ensuring adherence of the upper layer (1 ) and the lower layer (3) to each other and made of 100% polyurethane material used in lamination, and which rapidly slips away and removes the molten metals on it, eliminating the heat of the molten metal before it is reflected on the body and at the same time which prevents the electric arc damaging the human body.

CLAIMS

1. This invention relates to a textile product structured for worker in incandescent metals production in production facilities, in foundries and welding areas and this textile product is characterized in that it is a protective fabric (A) which - has an upper layer (1 ) comprising a warp and weft 75% Viscose FR-25% Polyamide FR mixture, made of textile fabric having 2/1 or 3/1 S Twill weave structure, a lower layer (3) comprising 100% meta aramid mixture, made of woven fabric having 1 /1 plain weave structure and a middle layer (2) ensuring adherence of the upper layer (1 ) and the lower layer (3) to each other and made of 100% polyurethane material used in lamination, and which rapidly slips away and removes the molten metals on it, eliminating the heat of the molten metal before it is reflected on the body and at the same time which prevents the electric arc damaging the human body.

2. Protective fabric (A) in according to Claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises an upper layer (1 ) comprising a warp and weft 75% Viscose FR-25% Polyamide FR mixture, is created by weaving 2/1 or 3/1 S Twill weave structure.

3. Protective fabric (A) in according to Claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises a lower layer (3) comprising 100% meta aramid mixture, is created by weaving 1 /1 plain weave structure. 4. Protective fabric (A) in according to Claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises a middle layer (2) ensuring adherence of the upper layer (1 ) and the lower layer (3) to each other and made of 100% Polyurethane material used in lamination.

5. Protective fabric (A) in according to Claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises woven protective fabric (A) of 48% Viscose FR-16% Polyamide FR-24% Meta aramid-12%Polyurethane mixture, with weight interval of 300-500 g/m2, and with 5%± deviation value.

ARC

TECHNICAL FIELD This invention relates to a fabric is structured for worker in incandescent metals production in production facilities, especially in foundries and welding areas.

This invention especially relates to a protective fabric structured for worker in incandescent metals production in production facilities, in foundries and welding areas and comprise of, - an upper layer comprising a warp and weft 75% Viscose FR-25% Polyamide FR mixture, made of textile fabric having 2/1 or 3/1 S Twill weave structure, a lower layer comprising 100% meta aramid mixture, made of textile fabric having 1/1 plain weave structure and a middle layer ensuring adherence of the upper layer and the lower layer to each other and made of 100% polyurethane material used in lamination, rapidly slips away and removes the molten metals on it, eliminating the heat of the molten metal before it is reflected on the body and at the same time it prevents the electric arc damaging the human body.

PRIOR ART

Nowadays, there are production facilities especially foundries and welding areas. At the specified production facilities, many people work in close proximity to incandescent metals in the mentioned production facilities

These people wear protective clothing known to be fireproof for work safety. In the existing systems, the textiles protective against molten metals and the textiles protective against electric arcs are designed separately. Since the fabrics used in making fireproof clothes to be especially used in foundries are not air-permeable, movement ability of the worker is restricted by the comfort of the worker is neglected In foundries, aluminum materials melt at 660°C during production. The aluminum particle that splashes out the melting pot does not lose its calorific heat at the initial cooling phase and it maintains its heat. Consequently, many protective products are punched, including the fireproof ones and injure the worker. Nowadays, in many professions, a person may potentially be exposed to electric arcs and/or flames. Workers with molten metals may also be exposed to electric shocks sometimes.

Electric arcs may produce the highest known heat (10 000 - 20 000°C) on the earth. This heat is 4 times the temperature on the sun's surface. All known materials melt down at this temperature. The gas or air ejected as a result of arc radiation may scatter the materials molten at this temperature to long distances and the sound intensity generated as the result of explosion may reach 130 dB, causing permanent hearing loss. Another physical reaction occurring during arc development is pressure. A huge pressure of approximately 1 400 000 kgf/m2 is generated on the chest of a person exposed to arc irradiation. This pressure may tear away the clothes of the person. The clothes may catch fire event at a distance of about 0.5-1 .0 m from the area where the arc irradiation occurs. In case the clothing of the worker melts, the burns at the clothes parts are worse than those on the naked body.

Also, in the prior art, even if it is alleged that the textile products provided to ensure that the workers exposed to electric arcs in foundries and/or other jobs work safely protect the workers, it is observed in the work accidents experienced that the textile products currently used are inadequate to protect the workers. In such a work atmosphere, the workers are exposed to stress since such textile products cannot provide full protection against both heat and risks. Thus, low performance is observed in workers.

In the investigation of the prior art, the patent application WO 1997/042365, titled "Flameproof fabrics based on melamine resin fibres" was found. "The present invention relates to flameproof fabrics based on melamine resin fibres, fireproof blankets and clothing made therewith and their use for extinguishing fires and protecting people and objects from fire, combustion products and/or extinguishing agents" statements took part the abstract of the said application. When the abstract and description of the said application is examined, it is understood that the product of the invention is flameproof and is based on melamine resin and fibre. As mentioned above, this product may be punched or deformed if used in foundaries and against electric arc. Thus, concerned product does not extinguished the damage to the worker.

Consequently, due to the disadvantages in the prior art and the reasons mentioned above, there is the requirement that a development is necessary in the related technical field.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

This invention aims to eliminate all disadvantages observed in the prior art.

The object of the invention is make a fabric structured to prevent damage to workers in production of incandescent metals in production facilities, especially in foundries and welding areas.

Another object of the invention is to provide a protective fabric structured for worker in incandescent metals production in production facilities, in foundries and welding areas and comprise of, - an upper layer comprising a warp and weft 75% Viscose FR-25% Polyamide FR mixture, made of textile fabric having 2/1 or 3/1 S Twill weave structure, a lower layer comprising 100% meta aramid mixture, made of textile fabric having 1/1 plain weave structure and a middle layer ensuring adherence of the upper layer and the lower layer to each other and made of 100% polyurethane material used in lamination, rapidly slips away and removes the molten metals on it, eliminating the heat of the molten metal before it is reflected on the body and at the same time it prevents the electric arc damaging the human body.

Another object of this invention is to provide a woven fabric of 48% Viscose FR-16% Polyamide FR-24% Meta aramid-12%Polyurethane mixture, with weight interval of 300-500 g/m2, and with 5%± deviation value.

Another object of this invention is to provide the manufacture of a protective fabric with a structure that is resistant to molten metals in foundries and that prevents injury of the workers from electric arcs. With this, the necessity of having separate fabrics for foundries and for electric arcs is eliminated, which is the case in the prior art. Hence, the safety of the workers working in foundries will be ensured both against injury from molten metals and the electric arcs that may occur in a foundry.

Another object of the present invention is to provide the production of a protective fabric with a structure that is air-permeable, ensuring comfort for those workers work in hot atmospheres against sweating, that has better drape values, increasing the movement ability of the worker.

Another object of the invention is to provide the manufacture of a fabric with E3 protection class, which involves the highest molten metal resistance level.

Another object of the invention is to provide the manufacture of a fabric, the most importance feature of which is rapidly slipping away and removing the molten metals splashing on it, eliminating the heat of the molten metal before it is reflected on the body, and in addition, which conforms with the requirements of:

- the EN 1 1612-2008 certificate that covers the performance rules for clothes made of elastic materials and designed to protect the body wearing person, except for his hands, from heat and/or flames,

- the EN 61482-1 standard certificate aim to the test methods for materials and clothing for heatproof and flameproof clothes of the workers being exposed to electric arcs,

- parameter A (A1 and/or A2): Limited flame spread (ISO 15025:2002): A2 - parameter B (B1 >B3): Resistance to heat transmission (ISO 9151 ): B1

- parameter C (C1 >C4): Resistance to radiant heat (ISO 6942): C1

DETAILED EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

Figure 1 gives the representative illustration of the protective fabric (A) that eliminates the heat of the molten metal before it is reflected on the body against molten metal splashes and arcs, to which the worker working with the production of incandescent metal in production facilities, notably foundries and welding areas and that prevents the arcs generated by electric shocks to damage the human body.

The fabric of the invention (A) comprises three separate layers: the upper layer (1 ), the middle layer (2) and the lower layer (3). The upper layer (1 ) and the lower layer (3) are produced separately in the production stage.

The upper layer (1 ) is woven with warp and weft 75% Viscose FR-25% Polyamide FR mixture yarn, and 2/1 or 3/1 S Twill weave structure.

The lower layer (3) is woven with 100% meta aramid mixture yarns and 1 /1 plain weave structure.

The upper layer (1 ) and the lower layer (3) woven separately is subjected to lamination by the middle layer (2) comprising 100% polyurethane material to hold the upper layer (1 ) and the lower layer (3) to each other and to manufacture the protective fabric (A) of the invention. Blankets, work clothes, leggings, shoes, gloves can made from the protective fabric (A) of the invention. The protective fabric (A) of the invention, which is produced with a structure that is resistant to molten metals in foundries and that prevent injury to the worker against electric arcs eliminates the necessity of separately provided textile products for foundries and electric arcs. Thus, the safety of foundry workers against molten metal and the electric arcs that may occur is ensured.

Since the protective fabric (A) of the invention is air-permeable, the comfort of the person working in hot environments in the clothes with respect to sweating is ensured. Since the drape values are better compared to the other protective textiles mentioned in the prior art, the movement ability of the worker increases. The protective fabric that is produced as 48% Viscose FR-16% Polyamide FR-24% Meta aramid-12%Polyurethane mixture, with weight interval of 300-500 g/m2, and with 5%± deviation value:

- is in the E3 protection class, which involves the highest molten metal resistance level - has the EN 1 1612-2008 certificate that covers the performance rules for clothes made of elastic materials and designed to protect the body wearing person, except for his hands, from heat and/or flames,

- has the EN 61482-1 standard certificate aim to the test methods for materials and clothing for heatproof and flameproof clothes of the workers being exposed to electric arcs.

In addition, the protective fabric (A) of the invention conforms with the requirements of:
