Abstract:
A pulse tube refrigerator (10) has pulse tubes (18, 24), cold accumulators (16, 22) disposed in parallel with the pulse tubes, and heat switches (52), and is provided with heat bridges (50) which connect the pulse tubes and the cold accumulators via the heat switches (52), respectively. The heat switches (52) each function as a thermal insulation element when the temperature in the corresponding heat bridge (50) on the cold accumulator side is in a first temperature range, and function as a heat transfer element when the temperature in the heat bridge (50) on the cold accumulator side is in a second temperature range, which is lower than the first temperature range.
