Abstract:
A pump device (1) is provided with a piezoelectric pump (10) and an external housing (70). The piezoelectric pump (10) is provided with a pump housing having an intake port (400) and an exhaust port (520), a vibration plate (31) that is disposed inside the pump housing and divides an internal space (500) of the pump housing into a first space (501) adjacent to the intake port (400) and a second space (502) adjacent to the exhaust port, and a piezoelectric element (20) disposed on the vibration plate (31). The external housing (70) forms a flow passage comprising an internal space (700) providing communication between an external inflow port (701) and the intake port (400), the external inflow port (701) communicating with the outside. The flow passage has a part that is parallel with an outer main surface (40op) forming the intake port (400) in the pump housing, the part being disposed outside the outer main surface (40op).
