Abstract:

The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, and discloses a pure wireless earphone having a ground plane reflector. The earphone comprises an earbud housing, and an RF signal generator disposed within the earbud housing. The RF signal generator comprises an antenna, a main radio frequency PCB, a battery, and a charging PCB. The antenna is a helical antenna, and is connected to a metal tail line extending in a traverse direction at a terminal end of an upper portion thereof. The RF signal generator further comprises a metal frame and a metal grounding ring. The main radio frequency PCB is disposed at an upper portion of the metal frame. The metal grounding ring is located directly below the helical antenna. A gap is arranged between a bottom coil of the helical antenna and a top portion of the metal grounding ring. The metal grounding ring employed in the present invention enables modification of a radiation ground plane current to adjust an angle of a radiation direction and cause the radiation direction of the antenna to be inclined by about 15 degrees, thus ensuring, by means of a change of the radiation direction, stable wireless signal transmission and reception between earbuds and between the main device and an audio source, and improving stability and reliability of a wireless connection.
