Abstract:
A purge system comprises: a main tank; a compressor; an air dryer having a purge valve; an electromagnetic valve that supplies instructed pressure to the purge valve and stops the supply of the instructed pressure; a governor that supplies the instructed pressure to the electromagnetic valve and stops the supply of the instructed pressure in accordance with a tank pressure, which is the pressure inside the main tank; and a control unit that controls the electromagnetic valve so as to cause the purge valve to supply the instructed pressure to the electromagnetic valve without the use of the governor in at least one circumstance from among a case where a prescribed operation has been detected, a case where the amount of air supplied to the air dryer by the compressor in a prescribed period is assessed to be less than a first threshold value, and a case where the time duration from the time when the governor starts the supply of the instructed pressure until the time when the governor stops the supply of instructed pressure is less than a reference time duration.
