Abstract:
The present invention relates to a purification method for laurolactam, and more specifically, to a purification method capable of obtaining high-purity laurolactam substantially free of impurities. The present invention provides a method of purifying laurolactam from reaction products of a laurolactam synthesis process, the method comprising the steps of: (S1) obtaining first mixed solids by separating and removing low boiling-point substances by distilling the reaction products; (S2) removing impurities suspended in a first mixture solution in which the first mixture solids are dissolved in a good solvent; (S3) obtaining second mixture solids precipitated by adding a poor solvent to the first mixture solution from which the impurities have been removed; and (S4) evaporating a melted product obtained by melting the solid mixture solids by heat to obtain laurolactam in a gas phase, and crystallizing same.
