Abstract:
A purification method according to the present invention is a purification method that brings about the crystallization of a compound that has at least one crystalline form. A prescribed infrared wavelength and prescribed temperature at which a prescribed crystalline form precipitates from a solution of the compound dissolved in a solvent, are respectively input as the target wavelength and target temperature into an infrared-emitting device that is capable of emitting infrared radiation that includes the target wavelength. Using the infrared-emitting device, and while irradiating the solution with infrared radiation that includes the target wavelength and exercising control to bring the temperature of the solution to the target temperature, the solvent is evaporated and the prescribed crystalline form is precipitated.
