Abstract:
Provided are a polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH)-coated film protecting a printing surface, and a preparation method for the PVOH-coated film. The coated film sequentially comprises a BOPP base material layer, an ink layer, and a PVOH coating layer; the PVOH coating layer is made of a self-adhesive PVOH coating; the self-adhesive PVOH coating comprises the following components by mass fractions: 3-10% of PVOH, 0.4-0.8% of N-methylallylamine, 0.5-1.2% of an amino resin, 0.01-0.02% of a catalyst, 0.01-0.02% of a surfactant, 0.003-0.005% of a defoaming agent, and 87-96.6% of deionized water. Applying a self-adhesive PVOH water-based coating on dried water-based ink does not cause a reversible reaction of the water-based ink, such that an ink surface can maintain a good appearance, and is easy to pass a machine. The outer PVOH coating provides excellent oxygen barrier performance, and has a good coefficient of friction, provides a good condition for rapid food packaging of the coated film, and avoids the effect of damaging the ink on a printing layer during packaging operations. An inner BOPP heat-sealing layer provides a good characteristic for packaging heat-sealing performance of a product. The method solves the problem that the moisture in the water-based ink damages the PVOH coating surface during printing after coating, and due to drying and curing after printing, the printing surface has no moisture, and coating on the printing surface does not cause damage of the printing surface to the coated surface, thus solving the problem of limitations on use of water-based inks.
