Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pyrolysis treatment apparatus for an optical cable and a waste synthetic resin, which facilitates catalyst replacement work, reduces the heating time of a reaction furnace when operation is initiated and reduces the cooling time of the reaction furnace when operation is terminated, thus being capable of improving the yield of pyrolysis oil, and also enables safe operation, the apparatus comprising: a reaction furnace comprising a central body having a space formed therein, a door which is opened or closed in the front of the central body, and a rear body connected integrally to the rear side of the central body; a catalyst unit detachably provided in the reaction furnace and comprising a plurality of catalyst boxes in which multiple ceramic catalysts are embedded; a heating unit comprising a plurality of catalyst heaters which are provided inserted in the longitudinal direction of the central body from the rear body side and spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction of the central body, the catalyst heaters each having a heating wire arranged therein, a ceramic catalyst embedded outside the heating wire, and a protecting tube outside the ceramic catalyst; a heating and cooling unit provided outside the central body to heat and cool the reaction furnace; and a pipe unit which comprises a plurality of pipes and provides a flow path for steam, condensate, air, and cooling water that flow into or out of the heating and cooling unit.
