Abstract:
A closure system (10) has a main body (11) having a hollow cavity, a locking mechanism (20) slidably disposed within the cavity, and a plurality of fastening elements (30). The locking mechanism (20) is formed of a central post (21), a plurality of engagement pins (23) connected to the central post (21), and an actuator (22), such that pulling the actuator (22) causes the locking mechanism (20 ) to move between a locked and unlocked position. Each fastening element (30) has an aperture for connecting to the locking mechanism (20) by inserting the fastening element (30) into the cavity while the locking mechanism (20) is in the unlocked position, and then pushing the actuator (22) to slide the locking mechanism (20) into the locked position. All of the fastening elements (30) can then be released simultaneously from the locking mechanism (20) by pulling the actuator (22) to slide the locking mechanism (20) from the locked position to the unlocked position.
