Abstract:
This radar device comprises a circuit substrate having a substrate surface on which an antenna module for transmitting electromagnetic waves is mounted, a casing that accommodates the circuit substrate and has a facing wall that faces the substrate surface, and a heat conduction module that conducts heat generated inside the casing to the casing. The facing wall has: a transmissive portion through which electromagnetic waves transmitted from the antenna module pass; and an absorptive portion that absorbs incoming electromagnetic waves, the absorptive portion including a portion that differs in thickness from the transmissive portion. The heat conduction module has a first conduction member including a portion positioned so as to come in contact with the absorptive portion of the facing wall inside the casing, and a second conduction member that conducts heat to the first conduction member.
