Abstract:
Provided is a radiation detection unit that is applicable to both normal imaging and a one-shot energy subtraction method, and is capable of acquiring a high-quality energy subtraction image by a one-shot method. A radiation detection unit (1a) comprises: a wavelength conversion part (12) that converts incident radiation into light; a sensor substrate part (11) having arranged thereon a plurality of photodiodes that each detect the light converted by the wavelength conversion part (12), and convert the light into an electrical signal; and a casing (30) that houses the wavelength conversion part (12) and the sensor substrate part (11), wherein, in the casing (30), a filter member for absorbing a prescribed energy component from the radiation, forms a second member that is disposed oppositely to a first member which allows the radiation to be transmitted therethrough in order to cause the radiation to be incident on the wavelength conversion part (12), such that the wavelength conversion part (12) and the sensor substrate part (11) are held between the first member and the second member.
