Abstract:
A radiation heater device (1) is provided with: an electric heater (10) that generates heat when energized; a temperature detection unit (30) that detects the temperature of the electric heater; and an abnormality determining unit (50a) that determines whether an abnormality occurred in the temperature detection unit. The temperature detection unit is configured by including a plurality of temperature sensors (32, 34). The abnormality determining unit is configured so as to determine whether an abnormality occurred in the temperature detection unit by comparing the detection values of the temperature sensors or change quantities of the detection values of the temperature sensors.
