Abstract:
This radiation image capturing device is provided with an image capturing unit having a plurality of pixels. Each of the plurality of pixels includes a converting element for converting radiation into an electrical signal, a processing circuit for processing the electrical signal output from the converting element, and a holding portion for sampling and holding the electrical signal output from the processing circuit, wherein: the holding portion samples and holds the electrical signal output from the processing circuit at a first timing and a second timing that are mutually different, after emission of radiation from a radiation source has begun, and before the next emission of radiation from the radiation source has begun; the first timing is a timing within a period in which the energy of the radiation emitted from the radiation source is increasing; the second timing is a timing after the first timing; and the gain of the processing circuit at the first timing and the gain of the processing circuit at the second timing are mutually different.
