Abstract:
A radio communication device (1) is provided with: an RF circuit (10) that is formed on one surface of a printed board (101) and generates an RF signal (S1_1); a transmission wire (W1) that transmits the RF signal (S1_1); a transmission wire (W2) that transmits a signal different from the RF signal (S1_1); a ground layer (G1) that is formed on the other surface of the printed board (101); an antenna element (A_1) that radiates the RF signal (S1_1) supplied via the transmission wire (W1) from the RF circuit (10); and a connection layer (401) that bonds the antenna element (A_1) and the ground layer (G1). The antenna element (A_1) has: a plurality of dielectric boards (201-205) that are stacked on each other; a metal film (206) that is formed on the surfaces of the dielectric boards; and a through hole (207) that penetrates the dielectric board (201) closest to the printed board (101). The transmission wire (W2) is partially disposed in any one of the plurality of dielectric boards (201-205).
