Abstract:
An array combining unit (102) array-combines the received signals received by antennas. A most likelihood string estimating unit (106) outputs symbol string candidates for the array-combined received signals. A replica generating unit (110) generates a replica signal from a known signal or the symbol string candidates. A first tap coefficient estimating unit (104) estimates and updates the tap coefficient used for the array combining by using the error between the array-combined received signals and the replica signal as likelihood information. A second tap coefficient estimating unit (107) estimates and updates the tap coefficient used for generating the replica signal by using the error between the array-combined received signals and the replica signal as likelihood information.
