Abstract:
Provided is a rain protection device for shipping that is capable of suppressing water ingress to the hatch opening side. The rain protection device 20 for shipping comprises: a rail 19 that is disposed on a sliding hatch cover 11; a shipboard chute 22 that is disposed on the rail 19 so as to be able to travel freely, covers a portion of the hatch opening 13, and supplies the load from a ship loader 1 into a hold 7; a lid member 23 that covers the other portion of the hatch opening 13; and a water stop portion 100 that suppresses the water ingress to the hatch opening 13 side through the gap between the lid member 23 and the sliding hatch cover 11.
