Abstract:
Provided are: a raw cold-rolled steel plate with an iron-based coating that has excellent plating appearance and plating adhesion when molten zinc plating is applied after annealing, and that also has excellent chemical treatability when chemical treatment is applied after annealing; and a method for manufacturing the raw cold-rolled steel plate with an iron-based coating. This raw cold-rolled steel plate with an iron-based coating comprises: a base steel plate that has a component composition including, in percentage by mass, at least 0.8% of carbon, 0.10–3.00% of silicon, 1.50–8.00% of manganese, 0.1% or less of phosphorus, and 0.03% or less of sulfur; and an iron-based coating formed on at least one side of the base steel plate. The average crystal grain diameter of the iron-based coating is 0.8 μm or less.
