Abstract:
The present invention relates to a raw material supply system and a raw material supply method for thermally decomposing waste plastic that includes PVC and PET. The raw material supply system comprises: a calcium hydroxide supply device (12) that loads calcium hydroxide into waste plastic; an action control unit (15) that issues commands to the calcium hydroxide supply device (12) to load the calcium hydroxide into the waste plastic at one to four times the molarity of the total molarity of PVC and PET in the waste plastic; a melting and desalination device (18) that, by mixing the waste plastic and the calcium hydroxide while heating the waste plastic and the calcium hydroxide, performs desalination on the PVC and hydrolysis on the PET; a degassing hopper (20) that is connected to the melting and desalination device (18); and a raw material supplier (220) that feeds the molten waste plastic within the degassing hopper (20) into a pyrolytic furnace (6).
