Abstract:
The present invention provides γ-ray measurement technology with which it is possible to highly accurately measure and display, on the spot and in real time, both the γ-ray dose and energy spectrum, and also possible to increase the awareness of radiation workers regarding radiation exposure by downsizing and facilitating wearing of such technology. This γ-ray measurement method simultaneously measures the γ-ray dose and energy spectrum, said method comprising: an energy spectrum creation step in which a bayesian inference method is used to create an energy spectrum on the basis of γ-ray intensity data detected by a detection unit; and a dose calculation step in which the created energy spectrum is multiplied by a dose conversion factor to calculate the dose. The bayesian inference method at the energy spectrum creation step is a sequential bayesian inference method, and an α value indicating the degree of correction is defined on the basis of the number of counts and a reduction index.
