Abstract:
Disclosed are a polyurethane flame retardant prepared by compositing a poly(diphosphorylphosphazene) (PDPP) and, as derivatives thereof, a poly(diphosphate salt phosphazene) (MPDPP) (wherein M = Mg2+, Ca2+, a transition metal ion, a rare earth ion, etc.) and a poly(bis(dialkoxy phosphate)phosphazene) (PBPP), and a method for preparing the flame retardant and the use thereof. Since the phosphoric acid group in the PDPP, an unreacted phosphoric acid group in the MPDPP and unreacted hydroxyl groups in the phosphoric acid groups in a composite material can react with an isocyanate, the flame retardant is a reactive flame retardant. A reaction between the flame retardant and the isocyanate causes the flame retardant to be uniformly distributed in polyurethane, and the flame retardant effect is better. The flame retardant contains a variety of flame retardant components including a polyphosphazene group, a phosphate ester and a phosphate salt, and due to a synergistic effect, the flame retardance thereof is excellent. The flame retardant can be used in various polyurethane materials.
