Abstract:
Provided is a reactor which can be reduced in size. A reactor (1) has a first core (14), a first coil (11) wound around the first core (14), and a second coil (12) wound around the first core (14). The first coil (11) and the second coil (12) are provided with terminals a, c to which the output voltage of a power supply is inputted and terminals b, c electrically connected to the output side from which power-converted electric power is outputted, respectively. Further, the first coil (11) and the second coil (12) are wound such that the direction of a magnetic flux generated in the first core (14) when an electric current flows from the terminal a to the terminal b of the first coil (11) and the direction of a magnetic flux generated in the first core (14) when an electric current flows from the terminal c to a terminal d of the second coil (12) are opposite to each other. The reactor (1) is provided with a second core (15) provided outside the first coil (11) and the second coil (12). A leakage magnetic flux that is generated through energization from one coil of the first coil (11) and the second coil (12) and does not interlink with the other coil, passes through the second core (15), and circles around the one coil.
