Abstract:
A reactor in which a wiring board having formed a main winding and a wiring board having formed a control winding are assembled in layers in a planar core, wherein a magnetic flux density formed by a control current through the control winding is made uniform, and the inductance of the reactor is set by means of the control current through the control winding. In the reactor, in which the wiring board having formed the main winding and the wiring board having formed the control winding are assembled in layers in the planar core, (a) a magnetic flux formed by the main winding and (b) a magnetic flux formed by the control winding are placed in the following state to thereby make the magnetic flux density formed by the control current uniform. A main winding current of high-frequency current flowing through the main winding forms, in a pair of inner legs, AC magnetic fluxes having opposite directions of magnetic fields cancelling each other out. A control current of DC current flowing through the control winding forms a DC magnetic flux having a uniform magnetic flux density in the pair of inner legs in which the AC magnetic fluxes have been cancelled out.
