Disclosed is a reciprocating electric shaver provided with a rotating motor (110), a conversion mechanism which converts the rotating movement of the rotating motor (110) into a reciprocating movement, and a pair of drivers which is linked to the conversion mechanism and which moves in a reciprocating manner and in an opposite phase from one another. The drivers drive a plurality of blades and are each formed with an inner blade mounting section to which inner blades (54) are attached and with elastic leg sections (133, 143) for supporting the inner blade attachment sections in a manner such that the inner blade attachment sections are capable of moving in a reciprocating manner. Each inner blade attachment section is provided with a biasing member for biasing the inner blades towards the detachment side in the attachment and detachment direction. When viewed from the reciprocating movement direction of the drivers, the elastic leg sections (133, 143) are disposed in a manner such that a middle line (D) in the direction perpendicular to the reciprocating movement direction and the attachment and detachment direction falls between the rotating axis line (C) of the rotating motor (110) and the line of action (E) of the reaction force generated by means of the biasing member.
