Abstract:
A recording control device wherein an event detection unit 18 detects, as events, the occurrence of a saving trigger event that has been predetermined as a trigger for saving video data, and a non-saving trigger event, which is a different event from a saving trigger event and the detection timing of which has been predetermined as subject to be recorded. When a non-saving trigger event has been detected, a recording control unit 20 records the detection timing thereof. When a saving trigger event is detected within a standby period from the detection of a non-saving trigger event, said standby period having been predetermined in correspondence with the non-saving trigger event, video data is set to be saved, said video data including video at the detection timing of the non-saving trigger event and video at the detection timing of the saving trigger event.
