Abstract:
Provided is a technology related to image files when a plurality of cameras are installed in a vehicle and the power supply source is switched from a main power supply device to an auxiliary power supply device. An image recording device (1) is provided with: a recording control unit (8) for recording a captured image acquired by a camera image acquisition unit (5) in an image file for each forward camera (20); and an importance determination unit (9) for determining the importance of each of a plurality of image files. When the supply of power from a main power supply device (12) is cut off and the power supply source is switched by a power supply source switching unit (6), the recording control unit (8) continues recording captured images to a first image file, and executes a closing process for the first image file, which is the image file having the highest importance, at a timing that is based on a recording-continuable time during which it is possible to continue the recording of captured images to the first image file.
