Abstract:
Provided is a rectilinear drive device configured so that, when a lead screw is twisted, the rocking of a guide plate caused by the twisting can be prevented or significantly reduced. Specifically, this rectilinear drive device is provided with: a lead screw 11 rotationally driven by a motor 10; a nut 1 engaged with the lead screw; a guide shaft 13 disposed parallel to the lead screw; and a slide plate 14 mounted to a guide shaft in a movable manner, the slide plate 14 having formed thereon a restriction section 16 engaging with the outer periphery of the nut 1 to restrict the rotation of the nut, the slide plate 14 also having formed thereon a wall section 17 subjected to the thrust force of the nut, which acts from an end surface 1b of the nut 1. The end surface 1b of the nut 1 is provided with a protrusion 2 coming into linear contact or point contact with the wall section 17.
