Abstract:
Provided are a reflective film capable of suppressing double images of a display image, windshield glass, and a head-up display system. The reflective film has a linearly polarized light reflection layer in which an optically anisotropic layer and an isotropic layer are laminated and a polarization conversion layer, wherein the polarization conversion layer satisfies either one of the following conditions. (A) The polarization conversion layer is a phase difference layer wherein the front surface retardation is 30 nm to 200 nm and the angle formed by the slow axis direction and the transmission axis direction of the linearly polarized light reflection layer is within 35°. (B) The polarization conversion layer is a layer in which a helically oriented structure of a liquid crystal compound is fixed, and the number of pitches x of the helically oriented structure and the film thickness y (unit µm) of the polarization conversion layer satisfy all of the following relational expressions: (i) 0.1≤x≤1.0 (ii) 0.5≤y≤3.0 (iii) 3000≤(1560×y)/x≤50000.
