Abstract:
Provided is a refrigerant control valve device that appropriately opens a failsafe mechanism that opens in conjunction with a rise in the temperature of a refrigerant in an internal combustion engine. A main control valve, which controls refrigerant transmitted from an inflow port to a discharge port, and a temperature-sensitive control valve, which transmits refrigerant from the inflow port to a pressure-sensitive chamber, are formed in a valve body. A failsafe mechanism, which opens and supplies the refrigerant in the temperature-sensitive chamber to the discharge port when the temperature of the refrigerant in the temperature-sensitive chamber exceeds a set value, is provided. When the main control valve is in a closed position that closes the discharge port, the temperature-sensitive control valve is set to an open position, and when the main control valve is in an open position that opens the discharge port, the temperature-sensitive control valve is set to a closed position.
