Abstract:
Provided is a refrigeration cycle device that comprises: a primary refrigerant circuit 10 that is formed by sequentially connecting a compression mechanism 11, a use-side heat exchanger 12, an intermediate heat exchanger 13, a first expansion device 14, and a heat source-side heat exchanger 15; and a bypass refrigerant circuit 20 that branches from between the use-side heat exchanger 12 and the first expansion device 14, and in which refrigerant that has been diverted is decompressed by a second expansion device 21, exchanges heat in the intermediate heat exchanger 13 with the refrigerant flowing in the primary refrigerant circuit 10, and is merged with the refrigerant being compressed by the compression mechanism 11. The refrigeration cycle device has an injection function that increases the flow rate of refrigerant flowing through the second expansion device 21 to be higher than the flow rate of refrigerant flowing in the first expansion device 14 when the amount of heat that can be absorbed by the heat source-side heat exchanger 15 is low, thereby acquiring the required amount of heating in the use-side heat exchanger 12 even when the amount of heat that can be absorbed in the heat source-side heat exchanger 15 is low.
