Abstract:
A refrigeration cycle device (100) is provided with a compressor (1), a first heat exchanger (2), a second heat exchanger (4), an expansion valve (3), a flow rate adjustment unit (130), and a control device (10). The flow rate adjustment unit (130) adjusts a refrigerant amount that passes, per unit time, through the first heat exchanger (2) and/or the expansion valve (3). Operation modes of the refrigeration cycle device (100) include a startup mode and a normal mode. The startup mode is executed when the compressor (1) is being started up. The normal mode is executed after the startup mode. In the normal mode, the refrigerant circulates in a first circulation direction which follows: the compressor (1), the first heat exchanger (2), the expansion valve (3), and the second heat exchanger (4). The control device (10) controls the compressor (1) and the flow rate adjustment unit (130) to reduce, to less than the refrigerant amount in the normal mode, the refrigerant amount that passes per unit time through the first heat exchanger (2) and/or the expansion valve (3) in the startup mode.
