Abstract:
This refrigeration cycle device comprises: a refrigeration cycle circuit connecting a compressor, a refrigerant flow path switching device, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an indoor heat exchanger; a first branch part for branching a refrigerant between the outdoor heat exchanger and the expansion valve; a second branch part for branching the refrigerant between the indoor heat exchanger and the refrigerant flow path switching device; a bypass pipe for connecting the first branch part and the second branch part; a first valve provided between the second branch part and the refrigerant flow path switching device; a second valve provided in the bypass pipe; a first temperature sensor for detecting an indoor temperature; a second temperature sensor for detecting a liquid-side refrigerant temperature of the indoor heat exchanger; and a control device. In an operating state in which the compressor is operating, the expansion valve is in a fully closed state, and the first valve and the second valve are in a closed state, the control device senses an abnormality in at least one of the expansion valve and the second valve if there is a difference between the temperatures detected by the first temperature sensor and the second temperature sensor.
