A refrigerator control method. The refrigerator comprises a door body, an overturning beam connected to the door body, an opening/closing mechanism for driving the door body to reciprocatingly rotate between an open position and a closed position, and an overturning mechanism used for driving the overturning beam to be overturned between a folded position and an unfolded position. The control method comprises: determining that the door body is in the open position and the overturning beam is in the folded position; obtaining a door closing signal of the refrigerator; controlling the opening/closing mechanism to drive the door body to rotate from the open position to the closed position, and detecting a pivot angle of the door body relative to the closed position in the rotation process of the door body; and when the pivot angle is less than a preset first angle threshold, controlling the overturning mechanism to drive the overturning beam to be overturned from the folded position to the unfolded position. In the present invention, by controlling the opening/closing mechanism and the overturning mechanism, a door body opening/closing method for the refrigerator is improved, and the automation degree of a door body opening/closing process is improved.
