Abstract:
The present invention relates to a refrigerator. A refrigerator according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first storage chamber in which items are stored; a cavity disposed inside the first storage chamber; a heat source for supplying heat into the cavity; a cold source for supplying cold into the cavity; a water molecule freeze interruption means for interrupting the freezing of water contained in the items; and a control unit for controlling the output of at least one from among the heat source, the cold source and the water molecule freeze interruption means, wherein the control unit performs control to carry out a first operation step operated on the basis of first notch temperature for the cooling operation of the first storage chamber, a second operation step operated on the basis of second notch temperature for the heating operation of the first storage chamber, and a third operation step operated on the basis of third notch temperature for the cooling operation of the first storage chamber, and the second notch temperature has a value that is higher than 0℃ and the third notch temperature has a value that is the same as that of the first notch temperature. Therefore, cold or heat can be efficiently supplied until a supercooling retention period is reached.
