Abstract:
A refrigeration cycle of the refrigerator according to the present disclosure is branched, on the downstream side of a first condenser, into a cooling path by which refrigerant is supplied to an evaporator in order to produce cool air and a defrosting path in which the refrigerant is heated and by which the heated refrigerant is supplied to the evaporated to carry out defrosting. The refrigerant flowing through the cooling path is supplied to the evaporator upon having passed through a second condenser. The refrigerant flowing through the defrosting path is heated by heat exchange with a path by which refrigerant is supplied from a first compressor to the first condenser. The refrigerant that has radiated heat within the defrosting path together with warming of the evaporator thermally coupled with the defrosting path is evaporated in a warming-side evaporator provided to the downstream side of the evaporator and then is returned to the compressor, and the flow rate of the refrigerant flowing through the defrosting path is adjusted during defrosting.
