Abstract:
This refrigerator is characterized by comprising a refrigerant circuit that has a first flow path that circulates a refrigerant and is connected to the following in the given order: a compressor that compresses the refrigerant; a condenser that condenses the refrigerant; a capillary tube that causes the refrigerant to expand; and an evaporator that evaporates the refrigerant, wherein the refrigerant circuit comprises a hot-gas bypass pipe that is provided so as to form a second flow path through which the refrigerant compressed by the compressor flows from the compressor to the evaporator, a three-way valve that is provided to the first flow path between the compressor and the condenser and is connected to the hot-gas bypass pipe, and a two-way-valve that is provided to the first flow path between the condenser and the capillary tube, the three-wave valve is capable of causing the refrigerant discharged from the compressor to flow into the condenser or the hot-gas bypass pipe, and the two-way valve is configured so as to be capable, by closing, of blocking the flow of the refrigerant discharged from the condenser.
