Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a reinforced resin composition which exhibits excellent mechanical strength at high temperatures; and a molded article which contains this reinforced resin composition. A reinforced resin composition according to the present invention is characterized by containing: (A) a polyamide that has a dicarboxylic acid unit (a) containing from 60 to 100% by mole of a terephthalic acid unit and a diamine unit (b) containing from 60 to 100% by mole of an aliphatic diamine unit having from 9 to 12 carbon atoms; (B) a polyamide that has a dicarboxylic acid unit (c) containing from 60 to 100% by mole of an isophthalic acid unit and a diamine unit (d) containing from 80 to 100% by mole of an aliphatic diamine unit having from 4 to 10 carbon atoms; (C) a polyphenylene ether; and (D) an inorganic filler. This reinforced resin composition is also characterized in that: the mass ratio of the component (C) relative to a total of 100 parts by mass of the component (A), component (B) and component (C) is from 20 to 50 parts by mass; ∆HTcMt is 10 J/g or more; and ∆HMpMt is 35 J/g or less.
