Abstract:
The invention relates to a reluctance motor, comprising a stator (1) with a three-phase current stator winding for generating a magnetic rotary field, and a rotor (3) which consists mainly of a ferromagnetic material and is arranged on a shaft (2). Said rotor (3) has preferably at least one pair of flux guiding areas (10, 11) in a predetermined number of angular areas (9), said angular areas having the same angle at circumference, being adjacent to each other in a peripheral direction and facing towards the stator. The flux guiding areas (10, 11) have different flux-guiding characteristics in the main direction of the rotary field.
