A remote-controllable robot (100), comprising a body (1) as well as a motor (2), a transmission system (3) and a traveling mechanism (4) which are provided on the body (1). The robot (100) is provided with a control system (14) and the control system (14) comprises a controller (15), the motor (2) and a power supply (13). The controller (15) is provided with a communication module (16) to communicate with an intelligent terminal (400). The transmission system (3) comprises an output shaft gear (5) connected to the output shaft of the motor (2), a main gear (6) and a rotating shaft (7); two eccentric parts (8) passing through the rotating shaft (7) are respectively provided on both ends of the rotating shaft (7). The traveling mechanism (4) comprises a first connecting rod (41), a second connecting rod (42) and a third connecting rod (43). When the eccentric part (8) rotates, the first connecting rod (41), the second connecting rod (42) and the third connecting rod (43) are driven to link. The communication module (16) receives an instruction issued by the intelligent terminal (400) and converts the same into a control parameter, and the controller (15) controls the rotating speed of the motor (2) according to the control parameter so as to control the moving speed of the robot.
