Abstract:
Provided are a rendering method and apparatus. The method comprises: after content to be rendered of an application is received, acquiring, from said content, a first set of patches to be rendered and a second set of patches to be rendered; rendering, on the basis of a first number of traced rays, the first set of patches to be rendered, and rendering, on the basis of a second number of traced rays, the second set of patches to be rendered, wherein the first number of traced rays is greater than the second number of traced rays; and obtaining a rendering result of the first set of patches to be rendered and a rendering result of the second set of patches to be rendered. According to the rendering method, the content to be rendered is divided into a first set of patches to be rendered and a second set of patches to be rendered, and ray tracing is executed, on the basis of different numbers of traced rays, on the first set of patches to be rendered and the second set of patches to be rendered, thereby effectively improving the ray tracing and rendering efficiency.
