Abstract:
The invention addresses the problem of providing a replaceable blade handsaw that can use a wide variety of multiple replaceable blade types with differing thicknesses, for which exchange of the replaceable blade is easy, and that can favorably prevent the replaceable blade from rattling during use. Provided is a replaceable blade handsaw in which a back metal piece 20 having a back wall 21 and a pair of side walls 22 configured into a reverse U shape is provided on a saw handle 2, and a replaceable blade 3 is inserted into an insertion groove 23 between the side walls 22 and is fixed by catching on and rotating around a catch shaft 24. The top end in a fixed area from the front end of the back metal piece 20 serves as a top end open section 28 in which the back wall 21 is absent, and thereby the vicinity near the front end of the back metal piece 20 is configured into a cantilevered beam opened not only downward and to the front but also upward, and a constricting gap 29 constricted to be smaller than the insertion groove 23 gap is configured between the side walls 22 at the front end of the back metal piece 20.
