Abstract:
The present invention improves accuracy of replica detection. A replica detection device (2) removes, from image light of a printed object (1) on which yellow gradation is printed, surface reflection light of the printed object (1) and captures an image, and generates a captured image represented in RGB color areas. The replica detection device (2) converts the captured image represented in the RGB color areas into a captured image represented in a Lab color system, and extracts, from the captured image, a b channel which indicates a b value of each pixel. The replica detection device (2) binarizes the b value of each pixel of the b channel to generate a binarized image. Further, in the case where a part corresponding to the yellow gradation in the binarized image does not have a predetermined shape, the replica detection device (2) determines that the printed object (1) is a replica.
