Abstract:
Provided is a resin composition that contains a chlorinated polyolefin resin (A), an acrylic resin (B), and an alkyd resin (C), and that is characterized in that, in the solid content of the resin composition, the amount of the chlorinated polyolefin (A) is 1-30 mass%, the amount of the acrylic resin (B) is 40-95 mass%, and the amount of the alkyd resin (C) is 2-20 mass%, and the amount of an alkyl(meth)acrylate in a raw material of unsaturated monomers of the acrylic resin (B) is 70-100 mass%. From this resin composition, it is possible to obtain a coating film having excellent steam jet resistance, adhesiveness when being used as a multilayer coating film, and high adhesiveness with respect to an untreated olefin base material. Thus, the resin composition can be suitably used for a coating material for coating various articles such as: cases for electronic devices such as mobile phones, smart phones, tablet terminals, personal computers, digital cameras, and game machines; cases for home appliances such as televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, and air-conditioners; and interior/exterior materials for various vehicles such as automobiles and railway vehicles.
